David Kass

For over a decade, David Kass has been with Hilsinger Mendelson (HMI), the premier literary public relations firm in the nation. As a media relations professional in the publishing world, Kass has had the honor of working intimately with prominent figures across many disciplines, including former Heads of State, Senators, Congressmen, Fortune 500 CEO’s, celebrities, journalists, activists, and regular people with extraordinary stories. As Vice President: Executive Director of Publicity, he has led dozens of campaigns to bestseller status. Recent bestsellers include The Collected Works of Jim Morrison by Jim Morrison, The Baseball 100 by Joe Posnanski, Wildland: The Making of American Fury by Evan Osnos and The Dynasty by Jeff Benedict.

Before joining HMI, Kass spent several years at Rogers and Cowan where he played a prominent role in representing top-tier celebrity clients and organizations, including Paul McCartney and Microsoft. He also held the position of Director of Publicity at Time Inc.

With more than two decades in the ultra-competitive New York media landscape, Kass has established a formidable track record for developing creative strategies and constructing successful media campaigns while cultivating meaningful relationships with members of the media to ensure the delivery of a clear, focused message with positive results.
